Welcome to Alesco Secondary College: A School With A Difference.

Alesco Secondary College (formerly 鈥淎lesco Senior College鈥�) is a secondary school that believes that in order for students to have the greatest chance of success, Wellbeing and Learning must be in balance.

At Alesco, we understand that traditional schooling might not resonate with every student. As well as our sound programs of learning, which can lead to the achievement of the Higher School Certificate (HSC), we have a Wellbeing Program that provides students with long–term solutions for managing their emotions in a healthy and effective manner. Our school promotes quality education, whilst also guiding students to become confident and capable individuals that are well–prepared for their journey in life.

Each of our campuses provides a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment for young people who may find it challenging to complete their education through the traditional school setting.

At Alesco, we:

• Focus on working with students to create programs that better meet their individual needs, including smaller class sizes and a more relaxed and comfortable environment;
• Acknowledge that students have life experience which informs the way they learn. This means there is no 鈥榦ne size fits all鈥� method. Each Alesco student, team, and campus is unique;
• Encourage students to be self–motivated. There is no emphasis on being 鈥榝orced鈥� to go to school. Alesco is a choice;
• Ensure that there is rigor in the educational program provided and that students have the opportunity to experience an adult learning environment and undertake a NESA (NSW Education Standards Authority) based curriculum.

Year Groups

Alesco Secondary College caters for students in grades 9-12.
From 2024, we will be launching our Junior Program at our Cooks Hill Campus for Year 9 students. Providing the availability of space, we would then look to offering the program to all learning areas. You can read more about our Junior Program here.
